Why the saving is there

Duoprime M is a 100 % solids primer with instant covalent adhesion. Three things change on the line.

1–3 g/m² instead of 12–35
A standard roller coater in reverse mode with a doctor blade lands there by itself. No rebuild, no adjustments.

Less base coat on top
With the soft primer layer gone, 10–20 g/m² of base coat can be removed without changing look or performance.

No curing wait, no daily cleaning
Boards can be stacked straight off the line. The primer does not cure in the tray, so there is no clean and restart.

What the calculation does not price

The figures above are running costs only. These are left out on purpose.

Instant covalent adhesion straight off the line, with QC on the spot.
Scratch resistance above 5 N (EN 238) and moisture resistance that opens outdoor applications.
Fewer layers in the system, so a simpler process with fewer sources of error.
