Duoprime P

Duoprime® P is an innovative one component, UV adhesion promoter for polyolefins, such as PP foils and edgebands. It uses a covalent adhesion mechanism instead of e.g. isocyanates which is common in standard primers. Duoprime® P converts the inert surfaces to very reactive acrylate groups using UV-assisted chemistry. The primer layer can be applied in standard roller coating equipment, is compatible with standard UV-lamps and LEDs, and allows a subsequent coating or print to be chemically attached directly onto the surface. The second layer is a UV ink or UV/EB Top Coat.
